Hi,

Based on your description, it appears that the cause for your sudden weight gain and slow heart rate could be due to thyroid gland dysfunction.

Such features are observed in hypothyroidism.

Kindly get your blood checked for thyroid profile and consult your doctor for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
